Handweavers and Spinners Guild of Victoria

Charity Knitting.

Not sure what to knit next? Maybe you have some leftover yarn that you want to use.  Here are some worthwhile causes who will appreciate your knitting skills.

  • Once a year our group donates hats, gloves, scarves, jumpers and other knited garments to a charity nominated by one of our members.
  • In 2012 we donated many garments to Prahran Mission.
  • In 2011 we donated many garments to Wesley Mission.

Start knitting now, and be ready for our donation drive in 2013.

Wildlife Victoria  is a not for profit, volunteer based organisation, offering an essential service to the community by responding to calls regarding sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. Why not knit a Joey Pouch, guidelines are here . Bring them to the next meeting, Nicole will deliver them.
