Holiday reading

Something that came up in our December meeting was novels with a craft theme.  After a bit of searching, I have come up with this list you can look through, then check your local library to see if any of the novels you wish to read are there.

Manningham Whitehorse Library catalogue can be found here.  Check the online catalogue to see if the book you want is on the shelf, or which branch the book is held at for easy collection.

Kate Jacobs knitting group novels

Sally Goldenbaum knitting murder mystery novels

Monica Ferris needlecraft murder mysteries

Jennifer Chiaverini quilting novels

Earlene Fowler quilting muder mystery novels

Good Reads is a website that you can join for free (a little bit like Ravelry, but for book lovers.)  You can find lots of reviews for books and search in categories

a search on knitting novels brought up this list that has some great reading for you over the Summer holidays.

Of course there is always Amazon and Book Depository.  Online book stores give you interesting reviews.  If you want to buy books online, I can highly recommend the Book Depository website, 7-10 working days to deliver, and free delivery from England.  I use this webiste regularly and have never had a problem with my orders.

Or are you spinning and knitting away this Summer??
